How to build it

  1. Prepare the site: level, waterproof floor with a drain nearby. Have an electrician confirm the supply for a 13.2 kW heater BEFORE you build.
  2. Cut every member from Sheet C-02 board by board, then write its part ID on each piece in pencil so nothing gets mixed up.
  3. Fix the wall sole and top plates (W-01) for all 4 walls.
  4. Stand the wall studs (S-01) at 400mm (16") centres, leaving a ~700mm door opening with a doubled header.
  5. Fit the ceiling joists and door header (R-01).
  6. Insulate every cavity with mineral wool, staple aluminium-foil vapour barrier on the WARM (inside) face, tape every seam, then fit 20mm air-gap battens.
  7. Clad the walls and ceiling with cedar tongue-and-groove, secret-nailed with stainless nails.
  8. Build the 2-tier bench (B-01) at 450mm and 900mm above the floor. Install the heater exactly per its manual (clearances, guard rail), with a low fresh-air inlet near the heater and a high outlet opposite.

Tools: Mitre / circular saw, Drill-driver + impact driver, Spirit level (1200mm / 4ft), Tape measure, square, pencil, Staple gun, Brad nailer (stainless nails).
